sun’s rays stream down stairs
creating still pools of warmth
step over the cat
it’s time to play my

sinuous river
of poured feline contentment
will not move for you
time to wake up? wrong
I just got started on my
third nap of the day
it fits perfectly
because every box is the
right size for a cat
