I’ll come down when I
feel like it or when dinner’s served
whichever is first
at the summit she waits
a guru with life advice
purrs cure everything
go ahead and laugh
throw curses and nuts at me
one day, squirrel, one day
from here to there
you’ll have to walk around me
since I’m not moving
“if a mouse squeaks and
no one hears, does it exist?”
– Cat Philosopher
from beneath the leaves
scurrying sound of small paws
and chipmunks laughin
..and then Mouse, he says,
“Only at midnight!” Cat joke.
You wouldn’t get it.
could you let me know
when dinner is ready
asking for a friend
to keep stripes aligned
whites bright and soft as cotton
apply tongue daily
we may be different
but when it comes to squirrels
we’re on the same tea
Stop, sniff and follow
Put your nose to the ground and follow us on...
