Photo: You’re leaving us?

They make it hard to leave. In many ways.
Do your pets know when you’re leaving on a trip? How do you know? What do they do?

Perhaps if you took an extra suitcase you could take at least a couple with you..?
I can only go to places that take dogs as I can’t leave Bug because of her health issues. (or at least that’s the excuse I use;) )
Unfortunately, only my flat dogs get to travel with me this time–and my plushie kittie stand-in Rover.
That is so hard when the animals look so sad and those dogs really do look sad. But I bet they will get lots of treats when the Mom gets home. Hope the Mom has a great time.
Thank you. Jasper takes it the hardest, my husband reports. He gets all out of sorts and wanderst through the house looking for me. They will be very happy when I get home.
They all have guilt mastered in the first few hours after birth.
You are SO right!
Yes, mine do the exact same things. The cats climb in the suitcase, and the dogs just look sad.
Luckily I don’t travel much or for long usually, because they make me feel so guilty (plus I just miss them when I leave them)!
I feel the same way. But I’ll be back in four days and I’m sure they’ll do fine. And because I’m going to BlogPaws, I’ll come back with all kinds of fun doggy and kitty swag. 😀
They make you feel sooooo bad for leaving them, and they KNOW what that awful suitcase means. It’s always so hard to leave them.
Don’t they? The pictures really show it. Sigh.
PS…Have fun at BlogPaws! I wish I was going!
Thank you. Maybe next year?
I hate it when my mum goes away, that’s why I’m so glad we live too far away for her to go to Blogpaws!

I understand. I don’t travel much, but my fur family probably misses me more than the humans.
Have fun!!!!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Thank you!
Have a great time at Bogpaws!
Thank you. Sure hope to!
What sad faces and a helpful kitty cat.
So true. The cats don’t realize what’s happening, but I think the dogs do.
One of the things Mr. N does is try to sit on my lap. He figures if I can’t get up, I’ll have to stay!
Very smart dog, Mr N. But we all know that. 😉
I keep the suitcase out of sight until the last minute, otherwise it’s just too pitiful and I would never leave out of sheer guilt.
I’m glad I’m not the only one to feel the guilt.
Ha ha. That happens whenever we pack to go somewhere, too.
Have a great time at BlogPaws! 🙂
Yeah, I think it’s universal. Kitty helpers and sad doggies.
Jasper looks so sad.
It’s an art form for Jasper. He’s mastered it.
We’re being abandoned too…for BlogPaws. So not fair!
Hopefully the your human will bring home lots of kitty swag! See you there!
Mine ALWAYS know. I think it’s a sixth sense. MOL! You crew sure does look sad! Getting looks like that from my gang makes me feel bad for leaving, but it also makes me feel good to know they love me so much 🙂
I do know my turtles knows when I am busy…they keep climbing my hands or my keyboard.
