Athena isn’t pleased to share “her” bed with Tucker.
Athena the cat thinks it’s her bed. Tucker thinks it’s his. So when the dog jumped up while the queen-sized bed was occupied, her majesty Athena was not pleased.
She is the queen, after all; Tucker is the fool.
Her expression says it all.
Dogs and cats sleeping together? Only by accident. Athena. Would. Never.

Athena looks pretty miffed, for sure! But it does look like there’s at least some sort of understanding between her and Tucker. 🙂
She miffed, but Tucker doesn’t speak “cat.” So he has no clue when she hurls kitty curses at him through her eyes.
Bailie and cat bro Bert curl up together now and then, especially in the winter, and every night the two kitties and Bailie are in Mom’s bed. Bert does snuggle up to Katie and I sometimes too.
I would love to see my dogs and cats curl up together. Heck, I’d like to just my cats curl up together. But, everyone likes their space in my house.
Oh that is our house right now! Did you see the Sunday Selfie showdown a few weeks ago between me and the cat over the bed? He thinks its his now but we all know it was mine first. But we have been sharing the foot of the bed fairly pleasantly lately. Love Dolly
So nice to know they’re sharing. It doesn’t happen often in my house. Or at least, not that they’d willingly admit.
So cute! It is great that they decided to let you get a photo of them sleeping together. 🙂 They look really comfortable. My kitties definitely run my home.
Athena was there first, and Tucker jumped up. She is not happy, but doesn’t want to give it up to him.

Great question. Actually, I was thinking about posting one more photo that I took about 5 minutes later. They’re both still on the bed, but Athena turned her back on Tucker. “If I can’t see you, you don’t exist.”
