Warm, soft kitty beds with a great view. Best place to be when the world outside your window is a frozen sea of white. Dawn and Elsa Clair sit on my desk and watch the birds and squirrels shiver as they look for food in the snow. It’s good to be a cat.
What do your cats (or dogs) do when the weather outside is less than optimal? Do they stay inside with the humans? Or enjoy the outdoors no matter what?

We stay at home and sleep the bad weather away! Although if the rain persists (we don’t have snow here), we do still go out but only in the drizzle. The human hates it!
My dogs love the snow, but the two boys hate the rain. They look at me like it’s my fault and why don’t I please shut it off?

It never gets too terribly cold here in Florida, but when it gets Florida-type-cold, the dogs and cats here just snuggle up together and keep warm, or find a sun puddle to doze in.

such a lovely photo! Well, I am in Michigan and we have had well over 70 inches of snow this season (so far), and both Cody and Dakota prefer to stay in and sleep!
Thanks. We had more than 2 feet all told here in NJ–way more than we’re used to. Though it’s been warmer recently so it’s melting a bit. I think with 70 inches, I’d stay in and sleep too!
We’re indoor cats so we just look at what’s going on outside from the comfort of our windowseat.
Onyxx refuses to go out at the slightest hint of bad weather. Or rather he’ll go out and then wants to come back in.
Mr. N doesn’t care what the weather conditions are (flooding, wind, snow, ice etc), we’re going out.
What a great place to watch the world from.
Shiner isn’t a fan of bad weather, so she likes to stay inside 🙂
The squirrels must be very jealous of your cats! What a nice place to have their bed. Bentley & Pierre stay inside and really hate going out in the rain.
My kitties are insiders — they like to sit on the cat tree at the window, watching CAT TV. They particularly love the episodes where the birds fly in and out from the feeder. That usually generates lots of chatter. 🙂
That’s our cats’ favorite channel too. They’re fans of Squirrels & Chipmunks Nibbling, but their favorite show is Birds Get Close to the Window. 😀
