Does anyone else think dog butts are funny? I have way too many pictures of the back halves of my dogs. Or am I just weird? (I can take it.)

I always tell anyone trying to take pictures of my dogs that you absolutely cannot take a photo of a group of dogs without at least one butt! This photo though, is above my butt law of averages theory. And I love it! And I also have a lot of butt photos as well as can be heard frequently exclaiming “aw, I love your cute little (or large) fluffy butt!” Have I shared too much?
It’s nice to know there are others who feel the same. Kind of like admitting I sniff their paws, too. 😀
My momma sniffs my paws too. They have a ‘dusty’ scent. We’ve also heard other people say they smell like Fritos/or doritos – but we don’t see it! I would have to taste one to make sure they’re right. WOOF!
BOL! We say our dogs paws smell like popcorn. I also read that there’s actual reason for that scent. It has something to do with that yeasty bacteria that is on their paws.
There’s no ifs or “butts” about it…they’re cute alright!

I do take pictures of my dogs from behind but they’re not as funny because mine don’t hold their tails up like that.

Thanks. I have no idea what they were digging at. Perhaps they thought there was a squirrel or a bird under the snow. They walked away with nothing but they did have a lot of fun in the process. 🙂

My momma actually comments to friends once in a while that near my heinie/butt cheeks where I sit I have some hair colics or whirls/swirls and she thinks those hair swirls are cute. You are NOT the only one. BOL!
OMD! Rosie, one of my dogs, had those same swirls on her butt. We used to call them Dopplers after Doppler radar, which was introduced many years ago as a way to track weather patterns. Those swirls looks like the pattern a Hurricane makes when you look at it from above. We used to joke that that’s where she got her power from; she was pure terrier, always active. Maybe that’s TMI, but I guess it defines me as a crazy dog and cat lady. 🙂
And Butt Tuesday sounds very funny. Maybe it could just be a once yearly hop, perhaps in December, the tail end of the year. 😉
