Photo: Cat art: reflections in pink
TweetWordless Wednesday
Life creating art: reflections of impatiens paint dabs of pink on Dawn as she relaxes in one of her favorite chipmunk-watching spots.
What do I like about this photo? The look on her face. The little paw against the window. The feeling of serenity, of peace, of contentment.
Seems fitting after the events of the past week or so: the loss of my father, followed by the loss of two incredible people in the pet world, Dr. Sohia Yin and Dr. Lorie Huston and . Makes me want to take a moment and reflect on life, death, and how to cherish the time you have and the souls you love.
What are you reflecting on today?

And Pretty in Pink!
My mom wants to reach out and tickle kitty’s tummy!
I’m thinking about mortality today as well considering how sick Mr. N was yesterday.
What a gorgeous photo and sweet post. So sad about the loss of Dr’s Lorie and Sophia. (I am reflecting on ‘stuff’ today – finally getting 4 big bags of stuff – mostly clothes and books – ready to donate. Have had this on my to-do list for ages.)
What a great pic!
Dawn is beautiful and love the photo effects!
Tis is so exquisitely beautiful. You should enter it in Athena and Marie’s Caturday Art Blog Hop. XO, Kitties Blue
