Lilah Sings The Song of Her People
TweetWhen my dog Jasper hears a Sound, he barks. When Tucker thinks he hears a Sound, or hears Jasper barking about a Sound, he barks. Because there might have been a Guy or a Thing, and besides he heard it first. Whatever it was. If it was anything. Which is must have been, because Tucker barked.
Lilah, on the other paw, is a thoughtful dog, who speaks only when there is something of substance to discuss. (Perhaps there are some humans who could take a lesson from this. But I digress…)
The other evening Lilah presented a topic she thought was worthy of discourse, and — creative pup that she is — offered her opinion in a song.
I was lucky enough to capture her aria on video.
You’ll want to make sure you have the sound on for this.
Do your pets ever discuss important topics with you?

She has a lot to tell you. LOL! Pierre barks at every single noise and Bentley is more selective. ☺
Lilah usually barks to inform. Jasper barks because he heard something, or because someone else is misbehaving. (He barks the cats off the counter. I ought to write a post about that.) And Tucker just barks because someone else did.
Daisy is RRRRFFFFing back!! LOL!! 😀
Your Daisy is so adorable!
lilah….we total lee a greeez but knot with de part a bout ***** coz honest lee we think ******** inn sted……but then again, we iz catz ! ☺☺☺♥♥♥
Sometimes I think my cats and dogs understand each other. Other times, not so much. 😉
MOL ! She has a lot to say obviously ! Purrs
And with feeling!
Loved the ending few notes after the credits. Susan, you are so clever: “Did Timmy fall down the well?” We found out at the vet yesterday that dogs only have about 10 different sounds that they make while kitties have 100. You probably already knew that. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Aw, thank you. I don’t think Lilah appreciated my humor. At least I amuse myself, and a few humans.
I think she has a recording contract in her future.
She could be on the next season of The Voice.
We wanted to sing along but we didn’t know the words. 😉
LOL. Maybe you could hum?
