Calvin, Cat Office Manager
TweetI leave my office door open so my muses — my three dogs and four cats — can come and go as they please.
My canine posse stays close. Jasper takes up position in the hallway.
Jasper hangs out in the hall.
Lilah tucks herself neatly in the kneehole under my desk.

Tucker picks one of the three beds in the office and hangs out. Literally.

Dawn and Athena make very rare appearances, so it’s usually Elsa Clair and Calvin who hold the feline fort.
Elsa Clair stays near in an unobtrusive way, most often holding court on the slide-out panels of my desk, on which I’ve strategically placed a soft mat.

Or she minds her own business in the cat hammock strategically placed in front of the window.

Calvin, on the other paw, strategically places himself where he can contribute in his best cat manner to the overall productivity of my office.

On my desk.
Need to see the screen?
On my laptop.
Need to use your laptop?
Calvin, office manager.
He manages to get in the way multiple times a day.

Calvin is a great office manager.
We all hang out in the home office with Mom. The cats come and go, but they get in the way all the time too.

LOL ;0 I have a Calvin too! Except his name is Charlie.
My cat helps me be productive by stretching out on my desk to make sure none of my papers fall off 🙂
They’re all very professional indeed! Looks like they’ve got everything under control.
Truffle is usually on the desk in front of my monitor and Brulee is usually on the floor beside my chair.
Socks is my office cat and he prefers my lap.
It’s certainly nice to hang out with friends at the water cooler. We have two office cats. Mickey Mouser likes to sleep in the nice cat beds, but Rufus the Red needs to investigate the paper coming out of the printer and loves to walk across the computer keyboard.
