Adoption Update: My mom and her cat Penny

That’s a happy face.
I stayed over at my mom’s house recently, and spent some time with her—and her cat Penny.
Some of you may remember the story of lucky Penny and how she came to live with my mom. It was a match made in heaven (or at least by me), and the two grey ladies are still purr-fect for each other.
We had some play time with Penny’s favorite mousie, which was fun for all of us.
Penny and her mousie. She treats her toys well. That’s one of the original mousies I brought with me when we adopted her.
Penny has slimmed down a bit (she was a bit chunky when we first adopted her for my mom) and she looks great. She’s just as friendly and amusing and loving as she was that first day.
Penny is a great companion for my mom.
I like happy endings, don’t you?

What a delightful ladycat she is, and a beautiful shade of grey. Looks like your matchmaking skills are superb. I shall have to find out what your weight loss method is as I could do with losing a bit myself MOL

Thank you! My mom has on a diet food, and plays with her every day. She’s lost weight gradually, and she looks good.

Oh my gosh, yes! It was one of those “Don’t try this at home” moments, but I really felt it was the right thing to do. So glad it worked out for everyone.

Penny is simply gorgeous and she looks familiar to us. We think its a special tabby thin, our Dot Kitten has the same eyes, Dori at Wonderpurr has that sweet and gorgeous look. They all melt my heart!
