Haiku by Dog: Treats
TweetToday’s haiku is by Lilah.
She almost floats over the ground, white moving over black, tail waving like a banner as she runs toward me with a smile.
I’ve worked hard to train my dogs to come when called. I think it’s one of the most important things you can teach a dog: that every time they come, they get love, they get rewards, they get treats.
When you multiply it by three, and all my pups come running toward me, it is beautiful, and rewarding to me.
Because I know that when it really matters, when safety is a stake, I can call me dogs, and they will come.
Do your dogs come when called?
