Haiku by Dog: Simple

Today’s haiku is by Jasper.
I call Jasper my comfort hound. His favorite thing to do is relax. He’s an expert at it.
Jasper is especially pleased in the fall, when a pile of leaves becomes the Best Bed In The World, obviously a gift meant just for him. Whenever he’s outside and there is even one small clump of leaves, Jasper’s on it, in it, and enjoying it.
Add the warmth of the sun, and he’s the happiest dog ever.
Simple pleasures. Enjoying the moment.
I need to be more like my dog.
