Haiku by Dog: Seconds
TweetThe watchers at the window press wet noses against the glass, leaving snotmarks of sadness.
Even if you don’t turn back to see the soulful eyes staring at you, the hopeful hint of a wag, you can hear the eventual sighs of resignation that once again, you have left without them.
It’s a wonder we humans are able to walk out that door.

Oh yeah, we always give the mom the sad look when she leaves the house.
Then when we are out of sight they throw a party.
So true. The looks we get from Gracie and Zoe as we leave for work are SO pitiful sometimes.
Our windows are always covered in nose prints and cat snot. Dogs are better with giving you guilty looks, however. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
