Haiku by Dog: Chasing
TweetToday’s haiku is by Jasper.
A rodential scent wafts through the air and tickles a dog’s fancy; the chase is on.
It is nearly likely to end with a squirrel raining curses down from the safety of a tree upon a frustrated dog, but maybe the fun is in the chase itself.
What do you — or your dogs — think? Is the fun in the chase or the catching?

Thanks! It’s hard to catch a dog on the run!
We hope you catch that pesky squirrel, Jasper!
Thanks! (I don’t, but don’t tell them. 😉 )
That’s great! Mom Paula never really understood haikus.
Thanks. I understand. Poetry is like any art form; some types you get, and some you don’t. 😀
