Haiku by Dog: Again

Haiku by Dog: a terrier’s job / chase ball. again. and again. / there is no stopping.

Today’s Haiku by Dog features Tucker.

Some dogs like to chase a ball. Others see no point in the game. And then there’s Tucker.

“Just one more throw.”

“I can quit any time.”

“Again.”

Let’s just say he’s a bit obsessed.

What about your dog (or cat)? Does he like to play ball? Or maybe she couldn’t care less. Where do your pets fit in on the ball-obsessed continuum?

  1. We have to be careful with the following words in our house:

    WALK
    BYE BYE
    PARK
    TREAT
    HUNGRY

    • BOL. One of my dogs learned to understand spelling. So we had to result to long descriptions, like, “I think it’s time to take the woofy creatures on the other side of the door.” 😉

  2. It’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it. Keep up to good work, Tucker!

  3. Kitties Blue says:

Sounds like our mom and potato chips. Thanks for stopping by The Cat on My Head and meeting us. We always like making new furiends. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  4. Yep, that’s a dog for you. 😉

  5. Phod says it is a Shepherd’s job too!
