Haiku by Cat: Unscathed

Haiku by Cat: talons honed and sharp / leave window’s surface unscathed / clearly indifferent

Today’s haiku is by Athena.

Claws unsheathed, Athena stretches against the window. You can imagine the sound as she slid down. Kind of like fingernails on a chalkboard. Which many kids don’t get to hear these days, since whiteboards and markers have become more common in classrooms.

What do your pets do that bring back memories of the past?

None of us have ever tried this without a screen on the window. We think that takes superior talents. We do like to leave nose prints and drool on the windows, however. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
