Today’s haiku is by Elsa Clair.
Like the prototypical guru who sits at the top of the mountain, dispensing sage advice, deep thoughts, and words of wisdom, my cat Elsa Clair perches at the top of the stairs.
She is enigmatic and mysterious. Introspective and deep. Inscrutable and complex.
Or maybe she’s just wondering why dinner is late.
