Haiku by Cat: Birdwatching

Haiku by Cat: One goldfinch, a pair / of cardinals, three mourning doves, and / a chipmunk. So far.

Today’s haiku is by Athena.

We have a high-def, 3D entertainment unit for our cats, permanently tuned to the Window Wildlife Channel. Providing hours of entertainment, it always delivers the best in bird, squirrel and chipmunk programming.

Shows include:

  • How I Met Your Starling
  • Orange is the New Oriole
  • Big Beak Theory
  • Game of Crows
  • The Walking Wren
  • Breaking Birdfeeders (that’s a squirrel show)
  • The Real House Sparrows of New Jersey

In today’s Haiku by Cat, Athena is getting ready for the  Great Backyard Bird Count, one of her favorite programs.

Do you provide window entertainment for your pets? What do they like to watch? What’s their favorite channel or program?

Squirrel and bird TV are on 24 hours per day here. Most watching is done from the Catio. You all have the biggest window/TV we have ever seen. What great views to see all the critters. Your Haiku was quite good. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
