Text From Dog: A Dog’s Life
TweetIt’s a good thing to stop and reflect on the good things in our lives, like Jasper. To appreciate what we have, even the simple pleasures.
One of the things I love about this time of year—the time between Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish new year) and Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement)—is that I’m encouraged to think about life, about myself and my place in the world, about how I can be a better me. It’s also a time to ponder where I’ve gone wrong, whom I might have hurt—intentionally or unintentionally—and to ask forgiveness from all, and to grant forgiveness from any whom I feel may have wronged me.
It’s a time set aside from work, from daily concerns and everyday tasks, to look at the bigger picture, and to appreciate the little things.
To all who celebrate, L’shanah tovah; have a happy new year!
