Text from Cat: Puss ‘N’ Shoes

#TextFromCat Thank you for the boxes. Me: The what? Cat: The boxes. You left them on the floor for me. Me: Those are my shoes, Calvin. Cat: Oh. They're probably still okay for you to wear.

I don’t know what it is about my shoes, but Calvin seems fascinated with them. 

It can’t be that they’re leather, because nearly all my shoes these days are vegan.

And I don’t think I have smelly feet. Though, to a sensitive kitty nose, maybe my shoes retain my scent. Which may be attractive to my cat.

My current theory is that, to a cat, shoes are like tiny boxes. And my silly kitty Calvin thinks he can fit in them. 

Either that or he likes to wear women’s shoes.
