Black cats–and dogs–are often the last to be adopted.
August 17 has been designated National Black Cat Appreciation Day. As if any of us cat lovers would need a special day to appreciate our feline friends.
But black cats suffer from a bad rap, and are often the last to get adopted. Sadly, the same is true of black dogs. So, the next time you think about adopting a pet, remember black is always fashionable. And black fur blends in nicely with your little black dress–hardly noticeable.
