Haiku by Cat
could you let me know
when dinner is ready
asking for a friend
to keep stripes aligned
whites bright and soft as cotton
apply tongue daily
you may call me queen
ruler, empress, tsarina
I rule from the throne
picture is crooked
it wasn’t the cat’s fault but
she will make it right
inspection complete
major infraction noted:
there is no catnip
sometimes there are days
where you just want to hide your
head under your paws
leaves twirl and dance in
autumn performance just for
feline amusement
how would you know if
it’s clean without the help of
a sink inspector
adding curves to straight
lines, cat paints with black and white
of sun and shadow
balanced on the sill
watching chipmunk scurry by
could have been dinner
Stop, sniff and follow
Put your nose to the ground and follow us on...
