Black and White Sunday

A week ago, I posted a picture of Tucker and Athena sharing a moment.

And then, for the first time in more than a year, Life with Dogs and Cats went dark.

No posts, no pics, no texts, no haiku.

A few hours after I posted that photo, I was admitted to the hospital, where I stayed for the major part of the week, as I was diagnosed with and treated for Lyme Disease.

I’ll write more tomorrow, but for now, here’s a photo to celebrate my continued recovery, and to acknowledge the healing power of  love.

This is Athena welcoming me just after I got home.

Athena looks at me with love

I missed you.

Do your pets miss you when you’re gone? How do they welcome you home?

Today, we’re participating in the Black and White Sunday blog hop. Take some time and explore some of the great blogs shown below.
