I agree with you, I see the same things when I look into Boomer and Dottie’s eyes along with mischief, tenderness, curiosity and on occasion annoyance!

I only see good things in Easy’s eyes. Otherwise I could avoid some mischief in advance. But I agree with you, they eyes of dogs (and Cats) are wonderful and we are blessed that we can look in their eyes.
We see all those things and also a desire to take over the world.
I see that mostly in my cat’s eyes. 😉
I see frisbees when I look into Laika’s eyes. Nothing but red frisbees flying all over the place.
For real though I see trust, curiosity, and a lot of character.
