Tunnel of Fun: A favorite cat (and dog) toy

Calvin, tunnel cat

Sneaky Calvin

Leopard-spotted and more than four feet long, it has two holes designed for peeking.

The crinkly tunnel is, by far, Calvin’s favorite toy.

There’s so much a cat can do with it.

First of all, there’s sneaking.

Then there’s zooming.

Hiding.

Rolling.

Pawing.

Pouncing.

Calvin hiding in the tunnel

This is what we call “hidey face.”

Tucker the dog likes it too.

Seriously.

One of his favorite things to do is to put His Most Beloved Ball inside the tunnel.

Then take it out.

Then put it in again.

Then take it out.

Tucker sticks his head in the tunnel

“The Ball is in here somewhere.”

There was the time that Calvin was hiding when Tucker dropped his ball in one of the holes.

Ever hear the expression “like a bat outta hell?”

The humans were amused. Tucker got His Most Beloved Ball back.

And it wasn’t long before Calvin was back in the tunnel.

[And in case you’re wondering, no, we did not get compensated in any way for this post. I just loved the photo of Calvin peeking out of the tunnel. If you purchase the tunnel through the ad on my site, though, I will get a percentage through Amazon Associates.]

I think Haley would LOVE this! I could see her dragging it around the house too. Isn’t it awesome when you find that special toy that entertains them so much? Especially one that’s fun for both dogs and cats and the humans that laugh at them, lol! Thanks for sharing this.

Tunnels are great! Except those who aren’t made for a manate… uh I meant a Weimaraner… my dad had to rescue me because that thingy was glued on my butt :o) Glad you found your ball back before it was teleported to another tunnel owner :o)

That is a really cool tunnel! I can see why Calvin loves it. It has all of the pouncing essentials. I think my cats would love it too.

We have a dog tunnel we love, but we had to put the cat tunnel away because Bailie likes to drag it all around the house and was ruining it. Kitties enjoy their tunnel when we can have it out.

  12. I’ve always wanted to get one of these for our cats. I wonder if they’d like it.

What a delightful read! It’s always heartwarming to hear about pets enjoying their favorite toys. Calvin and Tucker seem to have so much fun with their tunnel of adventure. My dog’s favorite toy is his squeaky plush squirrel – he can’t get enough of it! Do your pets have any other playful antics that bring joy to your day?
