BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose Award Nominations Are Open ‘Til January 31

Life with three dogs and four cats is a thousand miles from Dullsville. My pets are my inspiration and my muses.

They are why I write, why I take pictures, why I blog, and why I share it all with you: for the joy, the entertainment and the love of life in a multi-pet, multi-species household.

BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose Award

Every year, BlogPaws — an organization dedicated to pet blogging and bloggers — looks for nominations for blogs, posts and photos that represent the best of pet blogging. Finalists are chosen and winners received the coveted Nose-to-Nose Award.

It’s an award that means the most to me because it is not a popularity contest; I don’t have to ask family, friends and fans to vote for me again and again. It’s judged by my peers, and is based on quality.

Last year, I was honored — just about blown away — to receive a Nose-to-Nose Award for Best Blog Post.

Homeless animals win, too

Like last year, winners in each of the twelve categories can designate a non-profit rescue organization to receive free pet food. That was one of the highlights.

So it wasn’t just me who won; it was the dogs and cats — and other pets — who were waiting for their forever homes.

Anyone Can Nominate: Deadline is January 31!

It’s time for nominations for the 2015 Nose-to-Nose Awards. If my writing, photos or posts moved you in any way this past year, made you nod in recognition, smile or even laugh, please take a moment and nominate Life with Dogs and Cats — or any one of my photos and posts — for an award.

The online form makes it easy and fast. All you need is the web address / URL of my blog, or the post or photo you want to nominate, and some basic information about me:

Name: Susan Willett

Email: SusanW@LifeWithDogsAndCats.com

You can also include my BlogPaws Profile Page (Susan C. Willett) Facebook page (Life with Dogs and Cats) and my Twitter handle (@WithDogsAndCats) but those aren’t required.

Below are some of the highlights from the past year, along with links to the stories, photos and posts, in case you would like review them to help you in your nominations.

You can also find a complete list of my posts in my Archive, if there’s a specific story or picture you’d like to submit.

You can nominate in one or more of twelve categories; just fill out the form once for each piece of work you want to enter.
