Haiku by Dog: Smile

Haiku by Dog: resting up before / the next game of chase begins / friends share a smile

Today’s haiku is by Tucker and Jasper.

Tucker adores Jasper, and is always trying to entice him to play. Every once in a while, Jasper decides to join in the fun. Lilah is always up for a good chase, and thus the games begin. Every combination of dog chases dog around the yard, through the trees, under the bushes, on the deck, until someone says, “Hey, can we stop for a sec? I need  to take a break.”

Then all the dogs find a place to flop and cool off. In today’s Haiku by Dog, Tucker and Jasper are chillin’ together until Round 2.

Do your pets have favorite places to rest outside? Or inside the house?

It’s great to share a comfy place with a friend. I love the bed, that’s my castle and my cave… and my treasure chest when I found something in my back yard :o)

  2. Emma says:

We just lie down, or rather fall down on the grass when we need a break. Love their smiles.

I have chosen an interior color palette based on my dog’s fur so they are welcome to rest any place they choose.

  5. Such a sweet photo. Sounds like they all have a great time together. Chase is a pretty common game in our house too. Caster is usually the chaser. He loves antagonizing everyone. But the game usually always ends in cuddles or group bath time in front of the “big screen TV” overlooking the back yard.

  6. We love resting on our windowseat. We can see everything that goes on outside from there.
