Haiku by Dog: Resting

Haiku by Dog: I’m not tired or hot / just resting here until you / throw the ball again

Today’s Haiku by Dog is by Tucker.

Tucker isn’t tired. He isn’t hot. He’s ready. Ready to run after his Ball and pluck it out of the air in a graceful leap. Again. And again. And again. As he says in today’s Haiku by Dog, he’s just resting.

What favorite games do your pets like to play? The ones where you have to call it quits because they’ll never stop on their own?

My sisters and I aren’t real game players with toys. We usually enjoy a good game of chase and wrestle the best. We do stop, though, when it gets too hot.

Bet that ball is super slobbery after just a few throws and returns. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

    • Oh it does. Slobbery and shlorby and disgusting. Which is why I have a special dog ball thrower that I taught Tucker to put his ball directly in so I don’t have to touch it.

Us doggies don’t get tired:-) I was out for 2 and a half hours today walking and playing with friends and having loads of fun. Daddy thought I’d be tired. but I was soon bouncing around again!

  5. That’s one thing about dogs…they just never stop!

  6. This reminds me when I saw a kid and I would try to stay up late with my dad watching TV, but I would always fall asleep. He would wake me and try to get me to go to bed, but I would always say, “I wasn’t asleep! I was just resting my eyes!!” Cute photo!

  7. At least Tucker stopped for a quick rest 🙂 My cats love to play a game I call “Milk Ring on a String.” Creative name, huh? Yeah, I’m good like that. Anyway, I slowly walk around the apartment dragging a ribbon behind me that has a milk ring tied onto the end. They just can’t get enough of that one.
