Do you ever wonder what your pet is thinking? What does she ponder? What kind of questions do you think he might ask if he could talk?
This is a blog hop! Check out some of the great pictures and blogs below…

This is one of those Mom can you get it moments, great photo!!
Thanks! The funny thing is Tucker usually is the one to chase every ball.
I hate when that happens. I hope someone got the ball for you.
Sadly, his cruel mom told him if he wanted the ball he could run down the stairs himself and get it. After pondering the situation, he complied.
Definitely not looking in a big hurry to go get it!
I think he was deciding whether it was as much fun to chase a ball that fell on it’s own as it is to chase one that bounced down the stairs. 😉
Awww…you look so sad without your ball. Hope someone fetches it for you! Happy Wordless Wednesday!! Much love, The Scottie Mom.
He knows how to look ever so pitiful doesn’t he? Tucker is perfectly capable of getting that ball himself. Eventually he decided it was worth the effort.
good one !!!
Thanks Tabbies!
I would love to get that for you! Love Dolly
Aw, thanks Dolly. That’s awfully sweet.
So cute! Must be one of those lazy days where it isn’t worth it to run down the stairs after the ball. Great haiku!
Exactly. Normally he’s the first one after the ball. He eventually decided it was worth it. (Thanks!)
Super cute! I do often wonder what Rita is thinking – it never occurred to me that she might be thinking in haiku. 🙂
I figure dogs are great poets. They certainly know how to say a lot with a little. Like how a twitch of an ear, a wag of a tail or a touch of a paw can express so much.
All the time. Sugar always got that look that makes me think … in a good way. Happy BlogPaws WW. Golden Woofs
There’s so much that goes on inside a dog’s head. I know they’re thinking…I just don’t always know what. In this case, I imagined Tucker was pondering why the ball bounced down the stairs on it’s own: gravity.
I think Onyxx just thinks about food 24/7. Mr. N thinks about things like, I wonder if I’ll catch a squirrel today?
I think my dogs think about those things, too. Squirrels, food and People Who Walk By the House and Must Be Barked At.
I always wonder what they are thinking. Great poem.
Thanks! We can only imagine what they’re thinking, right? There is so much going on inside those furry heads.
Just like a dog to sit there and watch his ball bounce down the stairs. 🙂
Truth. I like to imagine he’s wondering exactly how that happened, without someone throwing it.
He is definitely pondering gravity! : )
Exactly. There’s gotta be reason why the ball went down the stairs, when nobody threw it.
What a great Haiku. The picture is just perfect … someone looks SO sad that the ball has gone down the stairs!
I really think most of Pug’s inner monologue consists of “can I eat that?” or “I want to suck on that”.
