Haiku by Dog: Imagine
TweetToday’s haiku is by Jasper.
I think dogs–and cats–are great teachers.
In today’s Haiku by Dog, Jasper ponders the wide open space before him. He doesn’t rush in, though I am sure he is anticipating the feel of the warm grass underneath his doggy feet, the promise of squirrels to chase and the allure of sniffs to investigate.
But for now, he’ll sit. Contemplating. Enjoying the moment before. Which will make the fun–when it starts–that much more enjoyable.

We try to teach mom patience, but it isn’t easy.
Actually, all of us are more of the seize the moment kind of kitties. We do know how to totally relax, however, which we have not been able to teach Mom. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
I teached my mom to see things through my eyes… it sometimes works with leaves of butterflies, but never with garbage :o)

They have taught me not to be so cautious and I have taught them to be more cautious.
Our late beagle Kobi often just sat in the yard looking around and appreciating everything. It was such a great reminder to take time to just smell the roses.
We aren’t that patient! MOL!
Dogs and cats know how to be in the moment. It’s such a valuable lesson!
