Haiku by Dog: Ask
Tweet
Half the fun of playing with a new plush toy is to pull the stuffing out of it. Even though Lilah looks innocent in today’s Haiku by Dog, it’s quite certain she contributed to the evisceration.
Here’s the fun part; after the dogs pull the fluff out of stuffies, I put it back in and let them do it again. Then, when the toy gets too shredded after so much fun and games of tug, I remove all the stuffing and let the pups play with what’s left. We call those flattened, empty plush skins “pelts” and the dogs love them too.
How do your pets play with plush toys?

uh oh! Think you’ve been visited by SOD (some other doggy!)
You should check out my bloggy today, I wrote some haiku’s too 🙂
You’re right. It’s always Some Other Doggy who done it. 😉
Hahaha! I need to write a clever haiku.
😀
We’ve been known to knock the stuffing out of some toys. And we’re cats! 🙂
Well if you knocked the stuffing outta toys, then the toys deserved it. Because cats know best. 😉
You silly pups! Very nice of your mom to reuse your toys over and over like that.
😀 As long at the dogs still enjoy them (and there’s no danger of swallowing little bits), I let them shred and rip and tear those toys as much as they need. We get a lot of use out of them.
Hey there! Please stop by Barking from the Bayou on Friday. We have an award for you! : ) I love your blog!
Thank you so much for the Award! Looking forward to displaying it and passing it on to other deserving bloggers! 😀
