Haiku by Dog: Islands

Today’s haiku is by Lilah.
When it’s hot outside, a refreshing dip in the pool is just the thing to help you cool down. With her coal-black fur, it’s no wonder Lilah loves to play in the water on a sweltering summer day. She doesn’t mind sharing, either; the more the merrier.
After swimming with Lilah, though, you might wind up with more hair than you started with, but hey, what’s a little fur between friends?

Lilah would never do that. She’s too smart. And as for birds, I can imagine you don’t like them very much, unless they’re served for dinner. (Though they’re probably not as tasty as fishes.)
