Haiku by Cat: River

Haiku by Cat: sinuous river / of poured feline contentment / will not move for you

Today’s haiku is by Calvin.

Cats like Calvin are amazing creatures, aren’t they? Their bodies are so flexible and bendable that they can squeeze themselves into tiny crevices. They seek out containers and pour themselves into them.

Perhaps we’ve got it wrong; cats are a liquid.

Do you sit elsewhere when your pet has your favorite seat occupied?

  4. Reminds me of Sampson! I call him my slinky cat. He seems to bend and move and lay in the strangest ways that seem unnatural, but he makes them look natural. It’s a gift!

Cats ARE liquid. How else could they contort their bodies the way they do? 🙂

  6. Love it! Rita knows not to sit in my fave spot, and I know not to sit in hers! 🙂
