Haiku by Cat: Power
TweetToday’s haiku is by Dawn.
Cats are heat-seeking devices. In the winter, one can count on finding a cat curled up next to the furnace vent or occupying a sun puddle.
Watch a cat soaking up the rays and it’s easy to see why it’s called sunbathing. They luxuriate in the warmth as it pours over them. A stretch. A yawn. A purr.
Just add Yanni softly emanating from the speakers and artfully arranged catnip-scented candles.
Does your pet lie to bathe in the sun? Does he or she have favorite sun places?

Cats may have solar batteries, but their battery life seems awful short compared to all the time they spend on the charger 😉
That is so incredibly true!

We agree — and we find that Moosey, Gracie and Zoe love to get LOTS of charging. 🙂
Cats might be the world’s most amazing creature, the secret of the universe. But they won’t share.
Oh yeah…just give us a sun puddle and we’re happy.
Solar-powered cats. What a great observation and truth. Right now we are mostly curled on the humans’ bed or soaking up the heat from the kitchen floor. It’s snowing. Lily is sitting on her Stacy Quilt in her antique dough bowl watching it come down. Pfffft! That means no sun and no catio time.
Solar powered sweetness!
Yup! That’s cats!
When does the energy part kick in? Still waiting. Love Dolly
