Haiku by Cat: Stealth

Haiku by Cat: silently he creeps / unobserved, stealth embodied / door was left ajar

Today’s Haiku by Cat features Calvin, though it’s hard to tell. He’s the Shadow, slinking through the house, testing doors in the slight chance one that is always closed has, perchance, been inadvertently left open. Treasure lies within! Or at least a neat place to hide. 😉

What about your pets? Do they try to go places that are supposedly off limits? What happened when they were successful? (There’s nearly always that one time…)

    My dogs don’t do this, I think it’s a cat thing…

    • When I was a young girl, my dog Twinkle learned how bang on a cabinet door to open it up and help herself to treats. I guess it depends on the dog. Twinkle was such a mischievous pup, her birth nickname was “Diablo.”

  4. What a neat picture! We have a few cabinet searchers in our house too. They’ve opened cabinet doors and stolen all kinds of things – butter, treats, loaves of bread… crazy cats!

  5. Only the Shadow knows! 😉

That is a really cool picture and the poem goes perfectly with it!
