Haiku by Cat: Brave

Haiku by Cat: demon vacuum sleeps / while brave cat poses, assured / that it is unplugged

Today’s haiku is by Calvin.

The vacuum cleaner is an loud and evil beast. It’s roar will cause the mightiest of souls to flee, to seek refuge beneath the nearest bed, or to escape toward safer heights. (Unless you’re Athena, in which case, you’ll stay and supervise.)

But, unplugged, the demon is nothing more than a vanquished foe, silenced and harmless. And if by chance, the monster’s tail should form a shape within which a cat could pose and prove his valor, then it is an opportunity no feline could resist.

What do your pets think of the vacuum cleaner?
