Haiku By Cat: Asking
TweetToday’s haiku is by Elsa Clair.
Elsa Clair is the most vocal of my cats. She has a lot of commentary to offer, usually about dinner being late, or meal prep going too slow, or why I’d waste time going outside with the dogs when—of course—dinner is late.
You get the idea.
Even though I’m sure my cat’s one-sided tirade is heart-felt and adamant, I can’t help but smile; she’s so adorable as she talks that I just love her all the more—and probably try to get dinner in the bowls just a little bit faster.
Do your pets talk to you? When? What are their favorite topics?

Great haiku! Food time, all the time.
We’re like Elsa Claire…always asking when dinner’s gonna be ready.
Yup. Because dinner is always late, right?
I thought Bear was vocal … until I got Ellie. That girl can tell you off a hundred ways to Wednesday!
I hear ya. Actually, I don’t hear you; Elsa Clair is too loud. 😉
