Text from Dog: Maintaining dignity

Text from Dog: It's hard to look dignified when the other dog keeps using me as a pillow.

It’s always Tucker. He always wants to be up in someone else’s space. When Tucker snuggles up too close, Jasper usually sighs, hoping the terrier will get distracted and go chase a ball or something. Which is somewhat likely. More often, Jasper disentangles himself from Tucker and moves off the comfy couch onto the hard cruel reality of the carpeted floor.

A refined, yet courteous dog, Lilah allows Tucker to use her as pillow, yet I always get the impression — as she notes in today’s Text from Dog — that her elegance is somewhat compromised by Tucker’s breach of deportment.

Do you pets use each other as pillows? Or you?

Well, I wish Shiner and Callie used each other as pillows but I think they are a long way off from that yet! Jack and Gus definitely do, and it’s too cute.

Aww he just loves you! Daisy uses us as pillows all the time, but we really love when she does it. 🙂

  5. But you make such a good pillow, Lilah! I like to use Ernie as a pillow. ~Wally
