Text from Dog: I brought you something
TweetUnlike Tucker, whose life is not complete without his beloved ball, Lilah plays fetch on her own Border Collie terms.
When she feels like it.
When there’s a possibility of a reward.
When she thinks it’s funny.
Does your pet have a sense of humor?

even a crumbled paper ball can be precious… it could be the lottery ticket or a pay check you accidentally threw away… in theory :o)
True. And no matter how valuable the paper, it tastes just as good.;-)
Bailie and I being goofy hounds sure do!
😀
Pierre feels the need to bring us a toy every time we come home. It is so sweet. He and Bentley both have a great sense of humor. BOL!
Exactly! I think we all know dogs have senses of humor. Sounds like they keep you laughing!
Ooooo! I loves me some paper products! I likes making spitballs and leaving them all over the floor for Ma to step on in her bare feeties! Oh the fun! BOL!!!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Yeah. That would be Tucker. Chew and spit. Watch humans step in it. Then offer kisses of sympathy as they pick themselves up.
We love to play with crumbled paper balls ! And after you catch it, you can shred it : how fun ! Purrs
Plus, they make a lovely noise when pounced! Paper balls are great for cats!
We wonder how long Lilah will keep that crumbled ball of paper. 🙂
Until I take it away, or one of the cats steal it. 😉
Good job with recycling, Lilah. You should remember this next year on Earth Day! 🙂
Absolutely! This post was originally scheduled for Earth Day this year, but somehow got lost in the shuffle. Better late than never…
If Daisy finds a new “toy” in the trash, in the yard, on the sidewalk, she tends to sneak them to her lair and hide them from us. The dead giveaway is that we can see she’s too focused on one small thing and won’t raise her head when we approach – just her eyes look up in that “don’t mess with my new ‘thing'” sort of way. 🙂
My dog Rosie used to pick up small rocks and sneak them inside the house. There was a certain look to her face that gave her away. We taught her the Drop It command and she would spit the stone out. But I used to wonder if she was gaming us, bringing the rocks inside so she could get a treat.
