Unfortunately for Dawn, I can’t be in multiple places at the same time. Though I try to spread the love around during the course of a day, wherever I am — or whomever I am petting — there’s someone somewhere who is feeling slighted because I am not petting him, or providing a lap for her.
How do you make sure you pay attention to everyone — pets and humans — so there’s enough love (and lap) for everyone?

Exactly! Now if we could only figure out how to leave a lap in the house when I go out, the cats would be very pleased.
My mom is terrible at sitting still which is so frustrating for our kitties!
I hear you. And cats tend to be very particular about how they want their laps.
All of my gang climbs up on me at the same time And then they fight over who gets to be right right in the middle of the lap. And then there’s Sassy upstairs – we always spend some time with her every day, and she gets to sleep with us every other night. Spreading the love is tough sometimes! 🙂
With more than one pet (or human), it can be a bit challenging to spread the love. But you get so much back in return, right?
