Text from Cat: Private Cat

#TextFromCat What are you doing here? Seriously. Can't a cat have a little privacy? Me: It's Dinner time! Cat: I love you.

Usually, my cats can tell time. As in dinner time. As in who needs an alarm clock when you have a cat? As in atomic clocks could learn a thing or two from our feline friends.

But every once in a while, someone sleeps a little too hard, or maybe hid himself a little too well when we had company, tucked into the deep dark recesses of the Underbed Cave. And that’s when the unthinkable happens: a cat does not show up for dinner.

It’s quickly remedied, of course, with a certain someone charging into the kitchen, afraid that all the food was eaten and there would be nothing left. Which of course is never the case because I don’t serve food until everyone is there, and there’s always enough.

But you never know.

Best to be on time for every meal.

Are your pets ever late for dinner?
