Look whose noses made the cover of the Dog Writers Association of America’s Ruff Drafts!
Jasper, Tucker and Lilah are cover dogs!
I can just imagine:
They’ll be so famous that everybody nose them wherever they go. Fans and puparazzi dog them; sniffing them out when they try to duck through the back door of Petco. They won’t even be able to stop at a fire hydrant to take care of business without someone asking for a pawtograph. It will be a tail of doggy stardom.
Or not.
Still, we’re all very proud that one of our photos was chosen for the cover of DWAA’s publication, particularly since we’re new members ourselves. And maybe, just maybe, the dogs got a few extra treats the day we found out. (Don’t tell the cats.)
I’m still waiting for my physical copy so the pups can pose with their (first?) cover.

Congratulations!! I know you are over the moon! Bentley and Pierre are both cover dogs, appearing on the covers of my books. Be prepared for major celebrity attitude and expectations of worship! hahaha!
That’s awesome, congratulations! My girl was featured in a print ad for a pet supply chain, and along with my big boy was on a nationally syndicated (locally based) pet TV show with my OH. My little boy was the pet of the week on our local CBS affiliate. They are all celebrities in our home, in my eyes.
